We are brothers - Māris and Juris Jakovļevi - who have been in transportation business for more than 20 years.
The name of the company is combined of the letters of our first names, but the word 'koks' (tree) reminds us about the times when we were still working in the wood processing industry.
The company fulfills deliveries all across Latvia and the Baltic States, but Māju koks headquarters are located in Sala county, near Jēkabpils.
We transport different types of cargo, assisting in construction work and road construction, and in transporting peat and much more. Māju koks autopark from only having one truck in 2005. has grown to 16. It is renewed and kept up to date- we're working with trucks that are no older than manufactured in 2016 to provide the best service for our clients and the best working conditions for our employees. All of our trucks are equipped with GPS control system that helps us work more effectively - we see the exact locations of our trucks, distance traveled, the gas tank level, etc.
Our trucks have a lot of different trailers, so we can effectively adjust to the demand and market situation. We can provide peat and grain transportation and assist in road work and construction. One of our businesses is reinforced concrete slab import from Belarus, which we export and also offer in Latvia.
We care about the reputation of the company. If we have promised to make a delivery, we're going to make it in time. It is important for the client to not have to contact multiple service providers and to receive the necessary capacity.
We thank our employees for staying loyal to our company! It's not the cars that are the biggest value of our company - it's the people! Without them this business would not be possible.
